Yashesh is the founding member and partner with Illume Advisory and has embarked on this entrepreneurial journey for his passion for client focused, relationship driven practice with a difference of providing quality multi-disciplinary services under one roof. He has over 15 years of experience in the tax, regulatory, transactions and mergers and acquisitions, financial services and private equity. Prior to starting Illume, he has an extensive experience of working with PwC, Deloitte and EY for 13.5 years and has held partner positions in mid-sized consulting firms.

He has extensive experience in tax and regulatory as well as in mergers and acquisitions, group restructuring, inbound and outbound investment structuring, transaction structuring, due diligence, private equity fund and structuring, tax modelling and negotiations, wealth and estate planning. His experience spans transactions and mergers and acquisitions ranging from USD 0.5 million to USD 3.5 billion and structuring and implementations of domestic and offshore funds with AUM of USD 5 million to USD 1.5 billion. He has a vast experience in setting up and advising various NBFCs and securities market intermediaries. He currently advises various startups, private equity and venture capitals, SMEs and emerging companies in various areas ranging from tax, regulatory, transaction structuring, advisory and compliance aspects.

Yashesh has authored and co-authored various articles and his views are sought after and published in various mainstream media. He serves on the executive council of MSME Business Forum and is TiE Charter Member (Mumbai Chapter). He is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Bachelor of Commerce from Mumbai University. He has also completed his Executive Professional Services Course from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Raashi is a founding member and partner with Illume Advisory. She has over 12 years of multi-dimensional experience in advising clients in the areas of tax, structuring, due diligence, transaction documentation, management of compliance functions and valuations. She has advised a varied set of clients including private equity, early-stage ventures as well as start-up and growth stage companies. She practices in diverse areas of tax, due diligence, valuations, transaction structuring and support. Skilled in corporate finance, income tax and goods and services tax, she advises seed and angel networks, incubators and corporates and has executed numerous transactions related to investments and exits in early-stage companies and startups. She currently advises various startups, private equity and venture capitals, SMEs and emerging companies in various areas ranging from tax, regulatory, due diligence, financial modelling, valuation, and compliance aspects.

Raashi is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Bachelor of Law and MBA in Finance. She is an executive council member of MSME Business Forum and a registered valuer with IBBI for securities and financial assets.

Sanjay is an Associate Partner with Illume Advisory. He has over 7 years of experience as a company secretary working for various companies and limited liability partnerships in the field of secretarial compliances, incorporation of entities, mergers and acquisitions, winding-up of companies. His extensive experience spans managing secretarial compliances for startups, MSMEs as well as listed companies, liquidation, strike-off and winding up processes, SEBI under LODR and ICDR guidelines, compliances under FEMA / FDI / ODI regulations, corporate actions such as buyback, rights issue, preferential allotment, takeover code, issue of debt instruments and assisted in mergers, demergers, slump sale etc, of various unlisted and listed companies.

Sanjay is a member of the Institute of Company Secretaires of India and Bachelor of Commerce.

Ravi is the Strategic Advisor with Illume Advisory. Currently, he is also the board member and director MSME Business forum India promoting the vision of policy-makers vision of ease of doing business. He has over 25 years of exemplary corporate experience with Kotak and Tata AIA and has worked for Indian SMEs promotion globally under the flagship vision of "Make in India" since 2014. He has established new markets in India for large corporates like Tata, Kotak Mahindra, DHFL and received top recognition and felicitation at Tata International at Geneva (Switzerland) and at Paris (France). He has been honored with the Promoted Trade under Make-In India promotion in Japan, Belgium, UK, Vietnam and Russia for Indian MSMEs. He has interacted with heads of states of countries visiting India (on knowledge transfer and support ecosystem of MSMEs) - PM of Japan, President of Gabon, President of Kenya, President of Mozambique, President of Seychelles, President of Brazil. He has also led the delegations invited by International Governments to oversee the working and promoting of JV between MSMEs and SMEs in 2018 to China and trade promotion and cooperation between MSMEs and SMEs in 2022 by South Korea. He has been instrumental in starting and creating an exclusive fund pool (only in India) with investors specially to promote and fund adoption of renewable energy and clean energy by SMEs.

Ravi has authored and submitted multiple white papers, surveys, research study as recommendations and or inputs to policymakers and Niti Ayog on creation of MSME support and ecosystem in India. He is a regular invitee to various colleges, conferences, panels and forums as a speaker to speak on issues of entrepreneurship, opportunities in emerging sectors and educating MSMEs on different government and public policy. He has been awarded the Mahadevi Verma honors for contributions to MSME transformation. He is a B.COM (H), MBA (Finance), LOMA and LUTCF.

Deepak is a senior advisor with Illume Advisory.Deepak is also founder of Deepak Rao & Co., Chartered Accountants. He is an audit professional with more than 20 years of professional experience with larger accounting firms namely EY, PwC, BDO and GT. He has incubated and led the BDO Bangalore practice to 250 people in 5 years. He has also led the BDO India - South India Audit practice which comprised of 600 people. He has experience in working in an international and multicultural environment, having worked in UK and Middle East for over 8 years. He has worked on large IFRS conversion projects, SOX implementation projects and cross border engagements. He has extensive knowledge in the area of financial instruments accounting and valuation including IAS 39/IFRS 9, loan loss provision models, impairment and hedge accounting. He has managed engagements in India and internationally across diverse industry verticals like financial services, IT/ ITes, real estate, manufacturing and business services and also has experience in working with start-ups through their life cycle, especially in the fintech space.
